Today we want to take a look at the latest of the planned Dahua releases, which has already been released.
I am battling not to use the term D1 when it relates to DVR’s – but the practice is so wide spread, as to be the norm – so please bare with me. I am sure the more experienced professionals will know that we are actually talking about 4CIF.
Dahua HE-T Full 4CIF DVR
Right, the model we engage today is the Dahua HE-T series Full 4CIF (D1) digital recorder.
Let’s get a look at the machine first. It doesn’t really look any different to it’s forerunner the HB-E!
Well actually, the price of the HE-T series, relegates the 2CIF GB-E series, to forerunner status as well. The HE-T will be going to market at prices slightly below those of the GB-E.
Improved Features of the Dahua HE-T
So what improvements does the dahua HE-T series DVR bring?
Well that’s not a long list, but the HE-T improvements are certainly significant features. Of course all the features of the
HB-E are available in this new model.
channel matrix, you’ll still be wanting the HB-E, for full 4CIF, or the GB-E at 2CIF.

As we’ve written a few times already, TESC doesn’t sell this device to the public, or over the counter. We only supply the HE-T
DVR through our network of approved partners. Our distribution model is our guarantee that we will not have Dahua DVR’s
standing under desks, on the floor or in other shoddy, backyard installations.
We have already had a lot to say about DIY installs, so we won’t repeat them in this article!
